Kanpur: Kanpur police are shocked by the crowd issue in India and South Africa\'s second 20th-century international match in Cuttack, banning fans from carrying water bottles and Garmins at the opening ceremony-
October 11.
The Cuttack crowd problem caused several stands to be vacated and South Africa won the match with six wickets.
The incident prompted the Kanpur government to take precautions, including putting a 10 feet net in front of the watch, to ensure that no object thrown by fans would fall to the ground.
\"Water bottles, limins and any metal objects are not allowed to enter the stadium,\" said SSP Shalabh Mathur, campur police . \".
